Common questions

Will the site actually be fast, and will it rank?

Those are the same question more often than not. We build with route-level code splitting, explicit image dimensions so the layout does not shift, and server rendering where search visibility matters - because a crawler that receives an empty container indexes nothing. We measure with Lighthouse and real-user data rather than on a developer machine, since a fast laptop hides most of what a mobile visitor experiences.

Do you build on WordPress, or custom?

It depends on who maintains it. If your team needs to edit pages daily without a developer, a CMS is the honest answer and we will say so. If the site is a product, has real application logic, or needs to be genuinely fast, custom is better. We have no incentive to push you toward the more expensive option, and a CMS you can run yourselves often is the more expensive option to replace later.

Can you work with our existing designs or design team?

Yes, and it is usually the smoother path. Give us Figma files and we will build against them, flagging anything that will not survive contact with real content or a narrow screen before we start rather than after. If you have no designs, we can produce them, but a design your own team owns is worth more to you long term.

How do you handle browsers, devices and accessibility?

We test at 375, 768, 1024 and 1440 pixels as a minimum, because 375 is where most layouts actually break. Accessibility is built in rather than audited afterwards: text contrast at 4.5:1, visible focus states for keyboard users, real alt text, and motion that respects a reduced-motion preference. European buyers increasingly ask for this in procurement, so it is cheaper to do than to retrofit.
