Common questions

Azure, AWS or Google Cloud?

Usually whichever your organisation already runs, because the operational knowledge matters more than feature differences. If you are on Microsoft 365 with Entra identity, Azure removes a lot of integration work. If you have no existing footprint, we will make a recommendation based on your workload and your team's skills rather than our preference.

Can you reduce our cloud bill?

Often substantially, and the wins are rarely exotic. Oversized instances, storage nobody deleted, non-production environments running overnight and at weekends, and data transfer costs nobody modelled. We start with a cost review because it frequently pays for the engagement itself, then address architecture.

Do we need Kubernetes?

Probably not, and we will say so. Kubernetes solves genuine problems at genuine scale, and it introduces a large operational burden that a small team pays for permanently. Managed containers or serverless handle most workloads with a fraction of the overhead. If you do need it, we will build it properly with infrastructure as code.

How do you handle a migration without downtime?

Incrementally, and never as a single cutover. Run both environments in parallel, move traffic gradually, keep the rollback path open until the new environment has proven itself under real load, and migrate data with verified reconciliation rather than a hopeful bulk copy. Big-bang migrations are how weekends turn into weeks.
