Do you have real experience in education technology?

Yes. Retain Quran is a structured learning and retention platform we designed and built, and it is live. It involved the parts of edtech that are genuinely hard: progress modelling, content structure, evaluating a learner's performance automatically, and keeping people coming back. One delivered project rather than a shelf of them, and we would rather say so than pad the list.

How do you handle student data and privacy?

By deciding jurisdiction first, because it changes the design rather than the paperwork. FERPA and COPPA in the United States, GDPR in Europe, and each brings requirements around consent, retention and deletion that have to be built in. Under-13 users in particular need verifiable parental consent, and retrofitting that into a live product with existing accounts is unpleasant.

Can you integrate with an existing LMS?

Usually. LTI is the standard route into Canvas, Moodle and Blackboard, and SCORM or xAPI cover content packaging and activity tracking. These specifications are old, verbose and reasonably well documented, so the work is predictable - the unpredictable part is which version the institution actually runs.

How do you build engagement without turning it into a game nobody learns from?

By tying the mechanics to the learning rather than bolting them on. Streaks and points raise short-term activity and can quietly reward the wrong behaviour - completing quickly rather than understanding. Spaced repetition, progress that reflects genuine mastery, and difficulty that adapts are harder to build and are what actually moves outcomes.
